PRIORITY ACTION LINE 1: PROMOTING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACCESS TO THE LABOUR MARKET FOR THOSE THREATENED WITH SOCIAL EXCLUSION

The first priority action line aims at promoting equal opportunities for the school population in its entirety, reducing the percentage of school failure as well as the drop-out rate by providing support for all young people to acquire the required knowledge and skills thereby increasing the probability of inclusion into the labour market.

The present action line includes measures and actions intended for groups of the school population with cultural and linguistic particularities and differences (Muslim and Roma children, repatriated Greeks, foreigners and expatriates), the disabled, students who have dropped out school before completing the nine- year compulsory education and finally students who present low school performance or learning difficulties
