PRIORITY ACTION LINE 3: DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ADAPTABILITY

Budget: Euro 19.848.352

The third action line, “development and promotion of youth entrepreneurship and adaptability” is innovative in the area of education and is designed to develop those skills which promote the entrepreneurship and enhance the adaptability of young people to the rapid changes that characterize the labour market. It is an attempt to upgrade skills which promote the modernization of administrative practices, enhance the entrepreneurial spirit as well as the development of human resources in matters of research and technology.

The basic objectives of this action line are:

• To encourage entrepreneurial activity and innovative applications.
• The preparation and training of young people for prospective employment in small businesses and the creation of sole proprietorship (self-employment).
• The creation of educational programmes which foster innovative entrepreneurial thinking and action.
