Welcome to the Hellenic Ministry of National Education

for Education and Initial Vocational Training (O.P. "Education").
O.P. "Education" is the Operational Programme
for Education and Initial Vocational Training designed to aid Greece
in meeting the challenges arising internationally due to the development
of innovative technologies. This Programme aims at turning these
challenges into opportunities for development and improvement of
the quality of life.
O.P. "Education" is one of the Third Community
Support Framework’s 24 Operational Programmes (2000-2006) in Greece,
and is co-financed by the European Social Fund, the European Regional
Development Fund and national resources. The role of O.P. "Education"
Managing Authority is to follow and apply Law 2860/2000, so that
the efficiency, the rationality and the transparency of the operational
programme during its implementation are ensured.

the programme's legal framework, the Operational
Programme, the Programme Complement,
the Action Selection Criteria, the Management
Guidelines, the Publicity rules regarding
the programme as well as Evaluation Methods.
You can obtain information on the various parties
concerned by the O.P. "Education", get informed about
the Programme’s Management from the Management
Guidelines text which refers to the Operational
Framework and the Implementation processes
of the projects. In addition, you can acquaint yourselves with OP
implementation progress and monitoring
procedures. A table showing the resource
allocation and financing along each action line and measure
is also at your disposal.
